Not shared AC but I was railing an ML in Pink Lotus one time when Sophia walked past with a customer. They had a good laugh when they heard the slapping sounds coming from the room.

Thin walls are interesting only if it’s a semi legit place. Pau Jai in dural is one such place where it turns me on when I am getting a b2b from a girl while in the next room there is a woman customer getting a legit massage. I paid a visit this afternoon and chose one of the curtained rooms. I can confirm that the rooms are now separated by a wall, behind the curtain. although it looked pretty thin and I bet you can still hear what’s going on next door.

I was told by a mamasan/owner that in some places the walls do not reach the ceiling to comply with local council regulations. Perhaps ventilation or fire regulations. It is not due to the extra cost of building walls all the way up to the ceiling.

I've been told its council regulations too but for a different reason. I was told by a legit Thai massage owner if the walls aren't fully enclosed it won't be seen as naughty activities having take place because there is no privacy. This was Kogarah council at the time. Some shops dodged this by having full walls but cut out a square hole above the doors in the inner west
