Well AndrewV, can you please enlighten me further on the seriousness of herpes?

Are not all serious medical contagious diseases, and not just sexual ones, required to have mandatory national medical reporting by medical practitioners encountering them? If so, why is Herpes not on this list?

The list by the way includes, gonorrhoea, syphilis, hepatitis, HIV, and others, but not herpes,
