I find that's the problem with a lot of the higher end shops though. Because they have such a strong online presence and take so much stock in reviews, the experience girl to girl is generally the same. The girls are told by management there are certain services they have to perform that are standard to the shop, the girls move through the check-list provided, a review is written, management read said review and if one of the actions is missing then the girls get quizzed on it.

I mean on one hand it creates uniformly excellent service and is a great form of quality control. Makes perfect business sense.

But on the other hand it makes punting feel a little less like punting and more like going on a tethered pony ride.

But I do talk a lot of shite so maybe take my opinions with a bag of salt.
This is pretty much spot on, when I look at the ginza lineup all the girls look very homogenised and like you said I can imagine what the session is going to be like ahead of time. Basically you want girls like Barbie or Jolin with their A+ levels of service, though Jolin was pretty standard fare until I discussed Barbies routine with her lol.
I agree with you shooter about the $150 shops but after a bad streak of duds I don't want to gamble but also want something unique which is one of the reasons, among others, that I haven't really punted over the last few months. I've also had a bad run of girls struggling with my size and not allowing positions outside of mish with some cowgirl
This has only happened at ginza once out of 20+ girls but I've had a much higher rate of failure elsewhere, its kind of tedious/embarrassing to have this discussion with shop owners ahead of time. I was embarrassed when I discovered that Wilson knew my username on here :/
