The Sydney racing carnval is over and all the actions are up north, didn't have time to study the form guide but felt like a punt, so walk into a TAB in the city and have a look at the Group 1 BTC Cup in Doomben race 7. Only horse I knew is no.2 Scenic Blast and it is 18-1, look at the monitor and the tips are 15, 11, 6, 2 and the late mail is no. 7 Spirit of Boom at 14-1 but never heard of the jockey.

So just put $30 to box the 5 horses @50%.

15 was never in doubt and 11 and 2 were in the photo, screaming for 2 to get second and it did, trifecta paid $700.10, collect $350.00, easy $320 profits, made up for the loss in Broncos last night and paid for my massage this morning............haha

Now I 'll just wait for Black Caviar to come on at the Goodwood and cheer for the Champ!!

Nice weekend - if Sydney Swans and Melbourne Storms (by 10.5) wins as well....lol

Well, it's a weekend of upsets, Broncos, Storms, Sydney Swan all got beaten but it's good to see some of the underdogs got up for a win, like the GWS beat the Gold Coast Sun and won their first ever AFL game and the Titans beat the Dogs.

But funny how things turned out, Broncos lost by 2 becasue Cory Parker didn't kick any goal (0 from 4 !!............WTF) and the Storms also lost by 2 and Cameron Smith missed a conversion.........And the Sharks did it without their best player and Captain Paul Gallen, so I think Shark is the real deal this season, Todd Carney is back to his best form = when he won the Dally M and took the Roosters all the way to the Grand Final and he they stay healthy, won't be surprise if the Sharks can finally win a title, won't that be great!!

Signs are not good for the Queensland Maroons, as both Brisbanse and Melbourne got beaten, between them, they have 8 origin players so can't wait to see game one in Melbourne!!

My early prediction, Maroon to win the series 2-1, seven series in a roll!!

I lost a $100 in the Storm game too, I wasn't going to bet as the line was -10.5 but when I found out Paul Gallen wasn't playing, I just put $100 on the Storms @$1.95 with -10.5, I never had any chance, the Sharks were too good. or should I say, TAB Sportsbet know their stuff very well, these points start is killing me!!

Sometimes, I like it when you post your bet Bro Travelmate. But sometimes, it makes me nervous and scared the hell out of me. Because most of the time I bet on something that is slightly different with you. LOL
But you know what, it's good to have something to compare with, especially with a pro like you Bro.
It freaks me out a bit when we have different bet. Because I bet on my bet first before I post or checking with the others bets. I like it better to bet on my own.

They won only by 1 point, and Game 1, their free throw was over 90%. Could they perform free throws like that again?
And they trailed through most of the quarters.

I think, just maybe, Phi +7.5 is a better bet.
And I even think that the sixers might cause an upset here by winning against Celtics.

After loosing Bos 1HF on their first game against Philly, i'm betting the same again today. One play Bos -2.5 1st half. OKC should cover too. I see Westbrook too good from the back court against Lakers.

They have old legs man. While BOS have the star power, Phi have deeper bench, and PHI is a much younger team than BOS. First game, Celtics won because they score free throw, their FT percentage was over 90%.

You know, first game they might win by one point, this game they lost. next game, I think PHI might cause an upset one more time. The momentum is theirs.
