@xbox I did not meet her at a shop, but a bar. It was abit of a rocky first 12 months. But I could see she had a beautiful heart, and I was friendly without being too pushy. I was 29, she was 19. After about 6 months, she packed it in, i supported her 100% and we have been together since.
But she is not like other WLs. She has a different set of values, and doesn't fiend for money or an expensive lifestyle. She would rather purchase an expensive pair of shoes for our daughter than herself. I am not a big earner, far from it. I am working class, and earn enough to make ends meet. She is happy and so am I.
Do I still punt? Only when she returns home. I dislike loneliness, as it is a dagger to my mental health. This happens about twice a year.
Trust is pretty solid. We have kids now, and I don't think that she really cares about the industry anymore.
