The ban itself is indefinite, the 14 day relates to the time period when other foreign nationals travelled to China and the self quarantine period for Australians and PR holders.

As for the Ginza shops I wouldn't worry, I've heard they are out recruiting from other shops already.

There are also other shops who had a number of their staff return to China for CNY.

Also QF have started offloading China nationals from their HK flights.
