Hardly surprising given the CHO (let's not call them the WHO given how hard they bend over to appease Chinese interests) have suppressed that info.

And are we really believing China's reporting of figures? As Jimbonz said, China's record in this whole sorry affair is appalling. The blame for how quickly this deteriorated lies squarely on their shoulders. How each country has handled it is due to misinformation from the outset. Taiwan and Singapore as examples had seen SARS etc previously and acted quickly based on their own history with previous disease outbreaks. South Korea too.

Morrison etc actually went against WHO advice and Chinas fist waving by closing travel from China when they did. Can you imagine what it would be like if they hadn't and appeased China?
There are videos and reports emerging daily from within China suggesting it ain't all as rosy as they would have us believe. So who do we believe, a dishonest authoritarian regime that will silence any who disagree with their rhetoric, or social media and all that entails in regards to fake news etc?
I'm also getting lots of so called reports from chinese wechat groups and whatsapp groups. But everytime anyone ask about the source of that "news" everyone says it from a friend who forwarded it from another friend, etc. No one has actually seen it with their own eyes.

I know there are lots of anti-chinese sentiments in the forum. So saying this will draw me flak. But all I'm saying is even if the news is for anywhere else, whether it's India, Indonesia, etc. Unless there are validated sources. We shouldn't just accept it as the truth.

Reminds of a conversation I had with the grand parents of some Malaysian friends. They say the Japanese are the worst since they lived through the occupation. They hate the Japanese, etc. And then they go back to driving their Toyotas, cooking rice with their Panasonic rice cooker and watching TV on their Sony....
