Come on, the "few experts" were the doctors on the front line that got silenced and died trying to warn others (RIP). And it wasn't the lying about the numbers that hampered the response I mean stuff like this (from a left publication for those saying I have political bias):

China and CHO (thanks Japan, I'll be borrowing this one) went out of their way to slow other countries taking effective measures.
