Thanks Ah Lungor I get it now. They put ALL the spit and snot together from all ten into one beaker and test that disgusting mixture. If negative, no worries. If positive, contact the group of ten from the revolting infected beaker. I wonder who the smartie who thought that up is.

Even upping the numbers to groups of one hundred would work compared to the contact tracing they have to do now involving many thousands.

I'm so sick of reading bad news out of Hong Kong, this at least is a bit of good news.
