That last statement would've contributed greatly to the lack of talent, bro. The same "phenomenon" has hit other industries as well. Take a look at how difficult it is for restaurants to hire wait staff. It's because COVID and the government stimuli that followed gave them an opportunity to skill themselves out of these low skill jobs.

I don't know if it's appropriate, but we have a prime example right here in this forum, none other than Louisa.

And I guess another major factor is the economics of Sydney and of Australia. Do ordinary people (ie. Not the top 5%) here have enough spare cash in their pockets when you consider all the factors: level of wages, cost of living, inflation, tax and debt burdens? How do we compare to other countries?

I take the lack of new talent entering this industry to be a sign of how bad the economy is. We might think that these girls are earning big $$$, but maybe the reality is a lot different.
