Lmao our relationship is one of him saying "yea going to do it" and me telling him not to full well knowing he will do it, so instead of stopping him it's easier to just watch him do it and bail him out of jail later.
According to other threads here it is highly likely to end in a divorce with her taking half of everything he owns or more if she gets pregnant assuming there is sex involved.
Another scenario I read could be that she makes a domestic violence claim and puts him in jail and gets 100% of everything he owns.
Ask him which option he wants.
I got offered aswell but I refused cause I already did it 7 years ago however it's to a non wl/ml. It was cheap too which I regret..
Long story short took 5 years to get PR, she took care of everything in terms of going through the paper work and immigration agent.
All I did was just pose In photos etc
It can be a hassle cause you may get calls to verify your legitimacy or even get agents rocking up to your house but for this to happen they need to be very suspicious.
Overall would I do it again? Maybe if the price is right

That's what I was telling him, it's easier to convince yourselves than others and I said they would probably have to move in together so as they don't get caught out which he would hate as he is independent and hated living with his ex last time.
It is worth the 5 years that you'll be constantly looking over your shoulder, mitigating risks of pregnancy and your assets, all that for under 10k a year.... 5 years is a big chunk of your quality life.
Even if 150k was offered, I personally wouldn't take it. I was offered 40k over 15 years ago by some Chinese lady I met over the internet that tried to seduce me. I didn't take it seriously and made a counter offer of 90k out of curiosity which she couldn't afford.
I was aware of $85k being offered to do the marriage honours for a sister ML.

To be honest, I really don't understand...
Even when you marry the person you love, there are already so many things you have to considered, especially finance. People marry for love, and accept the risks if things go sour. So, understandable.
But now, you do it just for the sake of 100k? Don't think it's a lot in this economy and that's for 5 years... But the downside is too high; constant lying, live together so no privacy, constant fear of getting caught, and more importantly, the possibility of losing asset if have any....
