How long does it take to have first post / posts moderated?

How long should this take? Understand that it is a useful thing to do but worth knowing the time frame and what is best practice if the posts dont appear?

It takes a while cause it needs approval, same goes with just posting comments as well. Mine became automatic after around 5-6 posts so its not like you've got a big hurdle get thru before posting normally etc.
