Over the decades, I've experienced price increases in a number of climes.. My canary in the coal mine is when your regulars are always busy... THEN, it's time to re-evaluate your ceiling. Until then, I find a simple, polite "No thank you" can be very effective in generating a price reduction.
Yeah, protection wouldn't be the right word, more that I meant that I know many customers don't enjoy the neg part of the transaction with ML's, esp if their rates are above standard. I think so owners just ensure the girls are charging market prices to ensure some punters don't get disgruntled at their shops when girls reach for a higher tip than punters may be used to.
