Payback's a motherfucker... Even Japanese can feel like a woman scorned. I've certainly told several (non J) to just continue the massage when presented with an (for me) OTT price. Would do it with anyone. But I do understand she is free to ask whatever price she wants.

When presented with an intractable situation, I've just said "We're FINISHED here", gotten up, and started to get dressed. My PERSONAL red line is when I've gotten my shoes on. Up to then, open to negotiations.
But after, we're out the door.

In your case, I would have written off the remainder of the massage price paid for, dressed, walked, accepting the MUTUAL disagreement. Taking it as a lesson learned: ask extras' prices at the start.
