I don't take it as a joke. But to set the mood, let me ask a question. Do you care if your flashlight prefers silicon or oil based lube? If your ML/WG prefers tea or coffee? Will you bother to ask? Like I won't go but then will lurk and read here for a bit and start going. Honestly I think until you're in your 40s etc live your life and try to punt as least as possible.
