I'm not voting Labor, or Green or whatever, so I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Was just pointing out that what you called out as bullshit were actual facts, and that he's a cunt.

    Cool your jets, angry man.

Haha you are really channeling Trump here!

But are you actually saying Albo has made the reef better than ever?

You just don't understand! "My mate says..." has far more weight than scientific concensus.

Dutton on shaky ground in his seat. Behind 58/42 2PP with a swing around 9% against him. If it happens it’ll be the first time an Opposition leader has lost his seat. Sums up his campaign really.

Looks like Dutton has lost his seat because he's an out-of-touch, racist, neoliberal cunt. Gutted.

Geez the RWNJ Cookers will be in their corners sucking their thumbs. What a crushing loss. They won’t recover from this for a longtime.

Best news is that fuckwit Dutton getting booted from parliament. He will no longer be heard. Big win for Australia.

‘My mate says’ passes the pub test better than this ‘scientific consensus’ malarkey don’t you know?!

But of course it does! Some things are just so obviously right and don't require testing. My opinion should be enough.

They were reporting that it was a possibility long before tonight because he'd only won his electorate by a very thin margin the last time around.
It makes you wonder why on Earth did LNP put him as opposition leader in this campaign? Surely they'd know he was a risk to the entire campaign if there was such a high chance that he could lose his own seat. And it's not like he's a John Howard, no glittering career to back up the risk taking. Utterly baffling.

Yeah, apparently Dutton’s (former) electorate has been marginal for a long time, which does raise the question of why the party would risk elevating him to leader. Had the Libs run a better campaign (and maybe had there not been the Trump factor wild card) there was a decent chance they could have beat Labour, but just imagine they won but Dutton lost his seat. What a shitshow.

The LNP have been totally annihilated. Greens have lost seats to Labor too. Increased majority which no one saw coming. Far right bullshit is dead and buried. LNP can only come back if they move closer to the centre. Suck shit Dutton. Seems people didn’t forget his cruelty and corruption.

The Libs are shit at strategy and knowing how things actually work. Always have been. Howard was cunning but a dishonest and divisive cunt and it cost him in the end.

I’ve lived in a safe LNP seat for near 20 years. Not anymore.

Yes, defo was a mistake trying to emulate Trump. I think the circus he's been running since taking power would've put off even the far right. Would've had them thinking "maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all?". And along comes Dutton hitching his wagon onto his star.

And it's interesting how the Westminster system works in the event of a party leader losing their seat while their party wins an election. I did a bit of research. Apparently the party can nominate one of their members who has won their seat to resign. Then the leader can go run in the by-election for that seat to get back into parliament.

I guess the other possible resolution would be for the party to immediately choose a different leader and voila, that's your next PM. In that case it'll be like ordering a cheese burger and getting a fried rice instead, lolll....

Will be interested to see how One Nation do. They were predicted to gain seats from coalition preferences but haven't seen evidence of that yet.
