Too often, being a long-term, loyal customer of a ML means you’re expected to be the one who’s flexible, understanding, and willing to shift around, while the “new” customers get priority, better availability, and all the effort aimed at converting them into regulars.

It sucks when it happens, but it’s a harsh truth, loyalty and the value of being a regular often feels one-sided.
It all depends.
We might be comparing apples and oranges.
Perhaps it would help if everybody could just clarify what they mean by 'regular'.
To some that might mean seeing a particular ML 2 times a week and others might mean a ML they've seen more than twice in two years....
