This is spot on. As for why this is a uniquely C girl thing, I've got no idea.

Simply because they speak the same language. For many of them, they're not just looking for sex, they're looking for company.

They'd pay these girls to join them when they're having dinner with friends. Or go to KTV or on a date.

They even have "3+1" package where they spend 3 hours on date and end with 1 hour sex

Some would book a girl overnight as a gift for their client.

Also this is not a uniquely Chinese thing. There's also plenty of Westerners serving Western customers and providing sugar daddy services at a premium price
