Hey bro, times are tough at the moment, with inflation rising and our salary is not increasing.
I have to cut off my punting, what side hustle do you guys do to earn extra income for punting ?

how many betting sites do you need to be one for it to work

Yeah I've made thousands over the years. Free punting kitty. Double digits only if you're too lazy to get out of bed I guess.

Bro, you're talking about bet matching promos, where the betting sites offer to match your bet. That's a totally different thing to what he's talking about, which is this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matche...ng?wprov=sfla1
The difference is money at stake. With the bet matching promos, you're actually risking your money on a particular outcome hoping for a doubled win. If the outcome materialises, you win double what you'd normally win. If it doesn't, you lose the amount you bet.
But the "match betting" method risks no money of your own and guarantees that you'll keep the money from the "free bet" promo. Take a look at that Wikipedia page to get an idea.
It's really a bottom of the barrel type of money making, TBH. Get a few free bucks from a new betting site running a promo, that's about it. I wouldn't call it a side hustle cos it ain't sustainable.
You're confusing what I'm saying. I'm a matched bettor. I arb promos and lay them off on betfair. Then I use bonus funds to either guarantee 80% of the bonus funds as cash by laying off the bet (on betfair) OR I just bet the bonus and try to win on a treble or something. I'm not risking my money as I'm laying off for a guaranteed qualifying loss on promo markets, then waiting to see if I score the bonus or not.
In the last few years I've made almost 20K risk free. Got spreadsheets and all.
I consistently lay off for a qualifying loss of around 3-4% of the stake and am able to turn 75-85% of the stake into cash. Rinse repeat.

With AI, most people need to find a couple of other venues for their cash flow, just to be on the safer side. So think about a side hustle that could potentially become your main income stream.

Bro I'm gonna walk you through a step by step example cos I want you to understand and profit from this. I'll use bet365 as an example but all books do the same promos more or less.
So every week they have a promo that goes "place a Same Game Multi with odds of at least 2.00 on this AFL match and if it loses get your stake back up to $50".
So I place a SGM that I think has a high chance of losing like the underdog to be winning at both HT and FT. Then I jump over to betfair and lay that same outcome on the HT/FT market for a guaranteed small loss whatever the outcome. Let's say $2.50 loss.
That's called the qualifying loss.
Now the match ends and the underdog didn't win and we lost out 50 stake in bet365 but made 47.50 in betfair. We are -2.50 so far but we now have a 50 bonus in bet 365 so we effectively paid 2.50 for a 50 bonus.
So with that bonus I can either bet it on a horse and lay that horse off on betfair to make about $40 cash guaranteed OR I can bet it on a sport multi and risk it.
Say I bet it on a multi with 4.00 odds for a profit of $150 - I just risked 2.50 to make 150 ...see how I'm not really risking my cash now?
As to your question of where I'm getting the bonus from:
Bet365 has this promo every week. 50 back on NRL 50 on AFL 30 on EPL and 30 back on a Saturday race. That's 160 a week just from bet365 which can be turned into really good profit.
That's only one bookmaker though. I'm signed up to dozens and they all have various promos like this that can be taken advantage of. Not to mention welcome offers that don't even require a qualifying bet - they just hand you the bonus on deposit.
Just this week a book I have been a member of for years gave me a 200 bonus bet on deposit to promote their new site revamp. There's heaps of em that will just email you a bonus after a period of inactivity to get your business back.
The key is to not look like you are matched betting and to make mug bets to appear like just a run of the mill losing sport bettor.
Hope this helped you to understand better.

Clear as mud!
A wise man once told me there are only 4 ways to make money: drugs, prostitution, gambling, and winning the lotto...so you're on the right track bro.
Also, these promos are technically banned in NSW. Not an issue for the customer, but the licensees are taking a chance by offering the promos. They just see if as a cost of doing business.
I used to arb regularly, but a lot of my accounts got closed. I also found that Betfair markets weren’t deep enough to cover what I was looking for.
I guess that it’s still possible today, but to me the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
Happy some people are still doing it though

20k in a few years? Penny ante returns for all of that effort?

Phillip Morris International - people smoke and will continue to do so.
36% in one year and 118 % in 5.
Invest don't hustle. The returns are better.
I think the only reasonable way to fund vices is from investments, yield, windfalls etc, rather than earned "active income"
