You’d think that after a decade-plus of this forum running, hundreds of shop ads, and thousands of punter ARs, blokes would get the hint or there’d be a sticky somewhere titled “How to Tell if a Shop Offers Extras.”
Notwithstanding the above I'll summarise the list for the OP and include a few extras (no pun intended)
Signs It’s an “Extras” Shop
- No uniforms (lab coats are the exemption)
- Staff dressed sexier or more provocative than usual
- Wet wipes visible near the table (HJ almost guaranteed)
- Tissue box within arms reach (common giveaway)
- Waste basket full of used tissues and rubbers
- Neon signage
- Dim lighting, soft music, or a generally “sensual” vibe
- No health rebates advertised
- Prices menu in the classic $55 / $65 / $75 range
- No foot massage chairs near reception
- Subtle flirting, teasing, light touching early on
- Giggling and laughter from adjacent cubicle
- Sudden bursts of skin slaps followed by dead silence
- Occasional moaning or muffled groans in adjacent room
- Clothesline strung with white or red towels
- "No Sex" signs in room
- A large poster of a male figure covered in meridian/acupressure points
- Mirrors inside room (always a clue)
