Whether just for my own future benefit or for writing an AR I do like to try to remember the details, the challenge is to stay in the moment and not start getting analytical about it. I just try to really open my senses and be observant while also enjoying things as they happen - and then jot down dot points of the session to remember it as soon as I'm in a position to do so. Sometimes I end up remembering strange things, like the shape of a girl's earlobes or that she has a wide gap between her front teeth, but I can't remember what colour her nipples were (even though I surely spent more time looking at her nipples than her teeth or ears).
