Matched betting.

As we start 2026, not all of us are wealthy enough or have access to cash that is invisible to wives/girlfriends for use to fund regular punting.
In the ideal world, it would be great to have a side hustle that would not consume too much time and would produce enough black cash to fund, say, one punt a week, let's assume $500 a week net.
If you have experience in this area, please share it in some detail, so we can all help each other. What is it, how long have you been running it, how consistent is the income, how much does it generate weekly, how easy is it to do, and how much time does it take away from your job or business?
Don't be secretive because no idea is copyrighted, and the world is a big place that can accommodate a few more players.
_______stay on topic and we will all enjoy the thread______________

tutoring for cash can solve your problem.
if each session is $50, and you do 10 sessions a week, then you will have your $500 in cash undetected.
I have to make a few small withdrawals each month and prob go once a month when I have enough.
My budget is only $200 a month.
The Chad thundercock method, just be so hot you don't need to punt but punt anyway
For those whining about the high cost of punting, how the providers are so unfair when they raise their rates (hard to believe they're doing what every other business is doing), how theirs is such as easy life, as I've often said, "If you can't beat them, join them."

$50 was so 20 yrs ago! $150 cash per hour now. An uncle is a high school maths teacher and that's how much he charges. He is fully booked every Tue-Thu night during each semester. I'm good at maths but suck at teaching, otherwise I would have done the same.
I did car flipping for a few years buying the cheapest nastiest car on FB but it was hard work and really filthy. Sometimes I should be wearing a biohazard suit. I only did it to learn mechanics of a car but there is some money to be made. Biggest hurdle would be buying tools if you don't have access already.

Punt E/W on well rated horses that class well against favourites. Look for $9+ for the win and $3.5 the place pricing. Shop around the corporates and Betfair for the best price. You're aiming to find a balance of freshness, track talent, and experience. You will break even and maintain a small profit from your place wins, and get your profit from wins. You should aim for a 20%+ strike rate on your wins and 80%+ on your place bets to be sustainable long term. Dec and Jan are the least favourable for options but there is plenty of action around Spring and Autumn carnival.
In my job I sort of Rort the overtime to fund my punts and hobbies

In the good old days when I earned a decent annual bonus you could have that paid into a different bank account - it’s how all the execs do it lol. Key is not to let your other half have access to all bank accounts or you need a cash income as you said.
Saw that myself, but in all fairness, the article was about decreasing your COST (less for more) of living by moving. EARNING... just take your skill set with you. Now, if your set is not transportable, yea, you might just be SOL.
So learn a new trade... I have yet to meet a provider whose school counselor told her that overseas sex work was an excellent fit.
More cashies in-between punts
Writing covered calls. Google this. Much more simple than it sounds. Take a chunk of cash, buy a solid stock or ETF after researching and understanding it, write calls every week or two with the click of a mouse, there's your income.
