Growing up in Brisbane it's impossible not to notice the explosion of massage shops around town over the last 20 years.

My first experience was about 10 years ago when I was corrupted by a mate who was a regular, and got me in to it. He had a hot girlfriend and I had a fat ugly wife at the time.

Over the years I've tried a wide sample of "proper massage shops", the typical neon sign dodgy suburban R&T and some decent brothels.

The question I can't get my head around reading all these posts is: why punt?
For $200 you can go to a brothel, choose your girl and be guaranteed to blow....

Why go through all the effort of staking out seedy shops to only end up with a boiler giving a substandard massage and HJ?

* Do you have an STD and can't get serviced at the who're house?

* is the dodgy dealing part of the attraction?

* Are you more comfortable trying to fuck a ML than an actual prostitute?

Also, in all my visits I have barely seen another punter, ever! Never see anyone going in or out of a shop either. Do you all go at night?

I ve been punting on and off for about 23 years or so. Mostly with independent Asian escorts. Apart from 2008 till late 2016 I was living and working in Asia, and I was married for a few years before that.

Anyway, back on topic: a punt can be at a massage shop/ML s, independents, brothels. To me, "punting" is all of the above. I ve tried a few ML s, but mostly independents. My main interest in this site is reviews/recommendations is in regard to independents.

As to why some men prefer massage shops, could be a few reasons. It can be a bit intimidating going to strange houses and apartment complexes/high rises, and it can even be risky sometimes. A massage shop environment is more suitable for some. Also especially nowadays, some of these shops are well appointed and very comfortable, even luxurious in some cases. Great Forum guys I’m on the GC and I find the in dependent girls especially the massage girls seem a class above .
