For those experienced, is it possible for it to pass without getting antibiotics etc?
assuming it is either Chlamydia or Gonorrhea just go on line and get a referral for testing a urine sample. QHealth offers a free service via S&N and QML. All anonymous, no cost, no medicare card required. It's fast and results back within 48 h. Treatment is simple, but involves different antibiotics - you need a prescription for these. It takes upto 14 days for C and 7 days for G to be clear, but symptoms pass in 1 to 3 days. Note, if your symotoms are showing up less than a week after your trip, chances are that it is G.

The snip is perfectly fine for me
You can still pass on a STD even if you've had the 'snip'.

And doesnt change the fact if you know you have an sti or suspect you have one and pass it on knowing that, it can be a criminal act.
    Snip, no snip, doesnt matter

It might or might not...could just be a UTI which does happen. But OP needs to see the doc, get tested and get treated...

Not quite sure what is being said here, but does somebody think that a vasectomy protects against STI transmission?

I suspect Joe was referring to a previous comment that fertility could be affected if left untreated… hence his comment about the snip. Or maybe I’m giving him too much credit
