I've tried it, and it doesn't work, unless you are a mega-wealthy multi-millionaire who can afford to set up your mistress in her own home/apartment and pay a hefty monthly allowance.

In most cases, a mistress will be discovered by your wife, or the mistress herself will go ballistic on you and spill the beans to your wife.

A not-so-millionaire man's alternative is to get a "Sugar Baby", but these too become problematic and do not last. She will not be loyal to you. Many sugar babies have multiple sugar daddies because they need to collect a lot more than $500 to $800 each time you meet them. You also have to pay for hotel rooms and presents.

In almost all cases, the mistress or sugar baby will become as boring and dull when it comes to sex as your wife is (after all, if the wife is hot in bed after years of marriage you would not be asking about alternatives).
