I needed to take a little time out as my 3hr booking had to cancel yesterday and thought I would take that opportunity to rest up and go & buy myself a new book to read..

I feel blessed to receive and just needed to express my gratitude, even if I have not responded individually back...(which I will try to do now..)

WOW WIZARD!!! Thank you for sharing!! I just read (and watched) this. Brought a tear to my eye, especially looking at the emotion in Micheal Cain's eyes..(brilliant brilliant actor!). I'm a soppy romantic at heart, and thank god I have my cat beside me right now because he's going to to be smothered with cuddles now as I go to sleep.

Sure, I do enjoy having a chat with sister Isis and make her laugh a bit or simply remember who I am, but I have no intention of any ulterior motives, if I do, it will be much easier just to come to the shop and have her !! In fact, on Thursday afternoon I was very close in doing that but I went to Alice's shop and saw Rebecca instead. I know what you mean happyas - I was thinking the same thing with all this poetry, song lyrics, flowers and hearts fIoating around - when a simple booking is all that is required or called for! I do confess to being somewhat more pragmatic than perhaps the more airily romantic contributors to this great thread. (Erm, like Wizard, Boney and Eureka - and I think you included yourself too - and Ahlungor is like a father figure.)

I admit I do admire Isis, and that is because of the posts that she makes. You have got to agree that she is a phenomenon. And it is the natural order of things that remarkable (let alone beauteous) young women such as Isis should get a lot of admiring attention, in our different ways, from the likes of gents such as us. That is one of the main reasons blokes exist on Earth! And hey! Eureka might land a date, they certainly have candles in common at least. Didn't Eureka almost burn down the Sheriton with the Bold and the Beautiful set up he left unnattended?
