    Shop blackmailed

I visited one of my regular massage parlours today, where many of the girls offer full service. Today, however, the girl I saw told me that the owner has been blackmailed by some arsehole who is demanding money or threatening to report the shop to the council and cause problems. She said the owner is very stressed about the situation.
As a result, the girls have been told not to offer full service because the owner is worried the shop could be raided.
So, for me today, it was just a massage and a hand job.

Do you people still think that if someone threatens to do something it means they're going to do it in the big 2026?

I'm sure the local councils already know what is going on inside the vast majority of "massage shops" these days.

If they wanted to raid it could easily be arranged, if not already done... and it could be done for multiple other reasons, not just for catching out those operating as an "undercover full service brothel".

Other reasons could include; drug busts, organised criminal activity, workplace & wage exploitation, people working who are not legally permitted to work in the country, building code violations... as just a few.

On the flip side of the coin, there are also reasons why the council's and other authorities turn a blind eye to it as well (one being that commerical properties command big council rates from their landlords - and it's easier for the landlord to have money coming in and the ability to pay their rates on time rather than to have a vacant property with the risk of no cash flow and the council having to chase down the landlord because they aren't paying).

Guess what I'm trying to say is... the council's don't need some extortionist to tip them off 😂.

So... what shop was it ?

Blackmail is extortion. So even-though who he is blackmailing is doing something “illegal”, one can be charged for blackmail.

    2 wrongs don’t make a right.

Owner should counter this clown with a threat. Assuming what the OP states is actually accurate.

I can think of many climes where prostitution is illegal and the authorities look the other way. At least until it becomes public. Governments just don't like bad publicity.

Did you really need to have a fleet of black SUV's with LE in body armor to raid a brothel where drugs are present? Certainly makes good theater for the ON SCENE news camera.

Tend to agree. You can throw in a dissatisfied customer and even a competitor in the same suburb.|

Why would someone be such an a***hole if one is happy with the MLs in the shop ?

It sounds like a bullshit story.

First, "threatening to report the shop to the council" will achieve nothing because all councils are aware that FS is very often provided in massage shops, and some councils -- from time to time -- decide to do something about it. Councils worry only when citizens complain to their local members and the media, and usually only if the shop is near a school or church or shopping centre where there is a lot of foot traffic and families/kids are about. Some "shops" or apartments get in trouble when they are in residential strata buildings or with retail shops around them.
Never happens when the shops are in industrial areas or far away from traffic.

Second, a council would not raid or shut down a massage shop based on one complaint. The council would need independent verification by hiring a private investigator to go to the shop as a customer and pay for FS then write and sign a statutory declaration that the council can then take to court and seek a judgement to shut down the shop.

Massage girls who provide FS will usually want to make the extra $$$$ for every hour they work, but sometimes they are simply not in the mood or find the customer repulsive in their eyes, so the girls use a third-party reason to say "no".... and defuse the situation, avoiding the customer feeling rejected.
---No matter how you look at it, punting is a lot cheaper than divorce .---

Agree with others here. She probably doesn't do FS at all so she cooked up the story to avoid outright rejecting a customer. If she really was trying to avoid trouble with the council even the HJ would've been a problem because that too is a sexual service.

Councils will only intervene if there has been a complaint or the town planners are doing their round to make sure all businesses comply with a DA if required.
Handjobs are considered sexual fall under the category of sexual services. The problem now is they might send in undercover person to see if it occurs which has happened on many occasions.

Don’t ever underestimate the power of the Council. I know they are getting frustrated in my area.

They are sick and tired of massage shops disguising themselves then offer extras.

They want DAs and money for the DA application.

I don't think OP is lying or the girl as many said cooked up a story to cover up her rejection for FS. I myself visited one of my regular after some time in a shop out in the west. My regular when she asked what extras I was after. I said FS and she told me something similar and said if I want to have FS we would have to be awfully quiet about it as the owner has explicitly told the staff to not offer FS.
First I thought wtf is that and had a tiny bit problem keeping it quiet but eventually I had a bit more fun than usual. All that keeping it quiet made it more fun somehow like sneaking your girlfriend in your room at night and trying not make a sound so parents don't hear us. lol
She was also turned on by this idea and still fucked and had fun.

Parramatta for example has had many massage shops doing FS for over 10 years for example and yet they are still around. I guess ultimately comes down to the council and if they are bothered.

I think an important thing to consider here is the terms being used. Blackmail is quite specific and I would think that a shop owner could remedy any problems without a lot of fuss (as may be what is happening) Extortion or "Protection" is a whole different beast. Have not heard or seen the likes since the bad old days, 1980. Still, desperate times make for desperate people. Just look at the tobacco trade at present. Let's hope everyone can keep safe 😎

If this is legit blackmail from those arseholes, I recommended owner invite them to come to collect the money and send them to police.
Hart those arseholes taking advantages from people trying to do some living.
