I have been a few times and I donÂ’t think itÂ’s that great - the water is always cold for a shower so by the time your ready to go your frozen.

That's a LONG time when you include international.

And in all that time, I've only been OFFERED a discount once, via message, from a shop I'd never visited, and I was free to write whatever I wanted. I politely declined; just a purist at heart, not wanting anything to influence me except my own experience as a common customer.

Full disclosure: I did recently receive an apology from a provider for having to collect the $10 shop fee increase.

I did receive a one-time shop fee discount of $10 for sticking around when my booking was running 30+ minutes late and I'd asked for a refund ($20/hour is slightly below my hourly rates but it's really the thought that counts. The next time it happened, same provider, I just walked with a full refund).

And there was the first time provider who offered me a substantial discount for sticking around when she was occupied by a punter who seemed to have that COTU* attitude. However, due to her excellent service, full fees were paid, foregoing any discount (not her fault some cretin can't get his sorry ass to a specific point at a specific time - disrespectful).

IME being a frequent flier does somewhat protect you from same provider service fee increases, UNLESS there's an industry wide sea-change (rare, but it does happen).
