The standards are slipping at Ginza.

I've been using Ginza for over 20 years, since their early days in Maroubra. They know me. I know Wilson. They know that when I book, I'll be there. I'll pay. I'll make sure the girl enjoys herself as much as I do. It's a shame then, that this loyalty is no longer reciprocated. Last night I made a booking for today via sms. Today I arrived to find the girl that I booked wasn't there. Why no message? Why no text? No letting me know the girl wasn't going to be there ... just let me drive all the way in ... and spring it on me at the last second. "Oh ... yeah ... sorry bro ... " c'mon, that's barely an apology, lacking in sincerity as much as it is disrespectful. Sure, they offered a girl who wasn't booked, but I booked the day before FOR A REASON. So I declined. Yes, business is great. Yes, you're making a killing. But just remember one thing: if you forget the customers who got you off the ground, we'll forget you!

Who's Wilson? Guess if you have to ask you're not worthy.

Wilson's the founder. The person who took Tokyo Cats from when it was a small operation through to now as Ginza, a behemoth of the industry. He's a top bloke.

On OP's experience, yeah that will hurt for sure. I had the same thing happen to me with 42G years ago. Jesse was the one who had to break it to me that my booking "fell through the cracks" during the handover between receptionists on duty. The location being far from home made it worse. I went back one more time to see my girl but never went after that.

It is what it is. I guess the lesson learnt with sex shops is, sometimes booking too early might not be the best thing to do.

Same thing has happened to me. Ginza has set the bar high in standards of excellence in the industry, but failing to give any advance notice of bookings falling through fails to live up to their usual excellence and I hope they'll do better.

Not sure what sort of booking system they have. that may not adequately cater for such a situation. Hence, would not be surprised . One of the old fashion booking sheet with a name and a contact no. would have easily enable Ginza to do a follow-up communication.

To date they have not let me down.

FWIW this has happened to me at least once at every shop I've ever frequented. Yes I know it's not a good thing but it's not something specific to a single shop.

Hi GD. I disagree with you. Super Ginza does not slipping. Nobody is perfect, are you?
What happened with your booking is not a big deal at all. You are using a very strong words for such a small incident.
Something similar happened to me too [ and I am very busy ], who cares, it's ok, Ginza is unique and will continue to be.

I started with Ginza 16 years ago when they were at Haymarket operating out of an apartment with multiple rooms and curtains. The days of Cassie. When 30 min sessions were $90. Wilson and I used to have a smoke outside and chat back when I was smoking casually now no longer. I’m hoping this bad experience a long time customer had was an anomaly. It shouldn’t have happened, let Wilson know and I’m sure he’ll give you a discount as an apology and peace offering.

It depends on the situation. I've been contacted by Ginza on more than one occassion when there was a problem with my booking, but from memory they were all because of easy to manage situations like girl calls in sick, etc. So we can't say that they don't ever give early warning. They will if they can.

On another time, my girl just didn't show up and didn't warn anyone about it. This was C Kiki back in the day. There I was waiting for 30 mins for her to arrive. Ginza receptionist was trying to contact her every few mins. I even feared something bad might have happened to her. I had to cancel it and go back to work. Later in the day Ginza contacted me. Turns out she went to school, forgot that she was on roster!!

Or if it's a double-booking situation like my experience at 42G. That would mean that they genuinely thought that everything was fine. Why would they deliberately double-book a girl? So in those situations, you won't get an early warning until you show up, then they realise they've made a mistake.

Shit just happens. Gotta move on from it. I forgot to mention that I stopped going to 42G not entirely because of that mishap. It was mostly because I'm a lazy punter, really hate having to travel far for it.

Weird. Twice I've had a girl go MIA, both times I got a heads up beforehand. The guys are pretty good, but anyone can make a mistake... Bit annoying when you have a bit of a travel in though.

Everyone makes mistakes mate. Maybe they just forgot. Remember the booking is manual.
My bookings got delayed countless times. I didn’t take it personally. Just move on. Try again the next day? Or see a different girl for me as I don’t really care, all the same pussy. Once you stop simping, life is so much easier

I had mistakes by the reception too. No big deal. I believe in them. Can’t thank them enough for bringing quality girls in the town.

I completely understand how you feel. Looking forward to booking a girl you really like and feeling as excited as if you were going on a date, only to be told she isn't there and they forgot to inform you—anyone would be upset.
I’ve been a customer here for five years myself, and they’ve made mistakes with me too, like booking the wrong person or notifying me that a girl canceled when I was already almost there. I didn't dwell on it too much because, compared to other places, they are still quite good. I used to think all shops offered similar service, and if I had a bad experience with a girl, all I could do was complain a bit or get a symbolic $10 coupon from the front desk with a few words of comfort. However, this place actually takes customer feedback seriously after the fact. Their follow-up and resolution made me trust them even more.
The reason you're so disappointed this time might be because something like this has never happened before. Maybe they were too busy and didn't pay enough attention to a loyal customer like you, assuming you'd be understanding since you're regulars.
Even though I haven't been to the shop in a few months because they don't currently have any girls I like, as long as they do, I will definitely go back. While the front desk can't guarantee the quality of the service provided by the girls inside, they certainly ensure high service quality outside. Personally, I still really appreciate their service.

I used to face the same issues, having to quit multiple times, more than five times, in fact. As a result,
    I stopped pre-booking appointments.
The problem was that I had to drive a distance to get there.
On several occasions, I wouldn't receive any cancellation texts. To avoid disappointment, I decided not to pre-book appointments. Instead, I'd book on the same day if I wanted to see the same girl. This way, I could avoid the frustration of last-minute cancellations.

When I arrived at Ginza, I'd often be told that the girl had cancelled, Sorry bro…..but I wouldn't have been informed. It's frustrating when this happens.
However, I've found that there are other several establishments that offer similar services, where you can choose from a lineup of girls and avoid disappointment.
These places provide a more reliable experience, where you can confirm the services offered and pay without any hassle.

--- spot on, you have common sense. - Mistakes here and there means absolutely nothing. Happened to me too, who cares.
Ginza is beyond, for me Ginza is the best sex shop in Australia and one of the best in Asia. - Their rates, their standards in customer service, the way they manage rates and girls, is something that nobody has in a such an almost perfect way.
But is normal, always there are very very few people who 'for some reason' cannot see.

It doesn’t have to be a mistake by the shop. Absenteeism is unavoidable to any shop or any employer, just that they have nowhere to complain nor post on the forum !

Just think how often do you give your boss a full day’s notice for taking a sickie ? Or just wake up and feel a bit of headache and decide to call in sick ? Unless you live at the address where you work, you can be delayed by transport too, like train problems.

If you’re the first customer of the girl on the day, there’s a possibility that this would happen one day, no big deal.

If you think the shop is picking on you, don’t go there ! Or you know you don’t have a good relationship with the shop, don’t go there.

We’re really sorry about your experience, and we completely understand how you felt. We truly tried our best to handle the situation, although unfortunately, sometimes unexpected things can happen.

This morning, you arrived early at 10:10am. At that time, we still couldn’t get in touch with her, so we weren’t sure what had happened and were worried that she may have overslept or might arrive much later. We tried our best to explain the situation to you and also offered the option of changing to another girl, so you wouldn’t have to wait too long.

We understand that by then you were already disappointed and upset, and we’re really sorry about that.

She actually arrived at the shop at 10:24am, only a little later than her usual arrival time. As soon as she arrived, we called you twice and also sent you a message to let you know. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive an answer or hear back from you, so we thought you may have already left.

We sincerely apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. We really do appreciate your understanding, and we’ll do our best to communicate more clearly and handle situations like this better in the future. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
