So quick update. Sydney water have been around and hooked up the water. Now thats done all thats left is getting the OC. Without the OC the business cant open and operate legally. Its literally the final step that every new business must do before opening. I know its been a while and the opening date has changed a few times but like most building projects things change and plans fall behind on schedule for various reasons. Yes the building may seem ready but without the OC the shop can not open. I will give another update once the OC inspection is done and what the outcome is. Fingers crossed it passes first go and Ocean Noir can open up quickly after. Thanks to everyone for their patience and support so far.

As for Ocean, sadly it didnt pass inspection first go but most of it is very minor stuff and quick fixes. The building foundation itself is fine and nothing is wrong. I will post why it didnt pass with images soon so people can have an understanding of whats going on.
These are examples of some of the reasons it did not pass.
1. These are the door handles we have.
2. These are the door handles we should have.
3. First we only had one sign but you actually need two of the same sign on the one door.
4. We had clear anti slip tape on the stairs but it must be yellow.
5. Our hand rails were square shape but need to be round.
6. Our tiles in the rooms are black and our doors are brown so they want the brown to be 30% lighter in colour.
7. Some of our entry and exit doors had the sign "PULL" but they actually need to say "PULL TO OPEN"
These are just some of the reasons on why it didnt pass first go. They have been mostly fixed now. The guys doing the handrails are there tonight and tomorrow and the rest will be getting done during the week. Once everything is fixed then we can apply for OC.

What's annoying is that they came a few months ago for something else and did not mention any of these things when looking around. It must be frustrating for the owners since they are dealing with it.
Yes you are correct about the accessibility regulations part but sorry I'm not Jessie I don't have a mixtape out yet.
