As for me I just love Asian women and yes I would like to see them get a fair go, but a lot of the ones I know don't know much English so any opportunity is going to be limited and I don't see that being much different in the USA.

I think here and in the USA from my observations that Asian women with a good grasp of English don't get treated any different from the Local Australian girls here and I am sure its not much different in the USA.
I posted this story with little consideration. I read it on Zite and thought, "ok those blokes on Aus99 might get a laugh from it." So I just copied the link. Then, I agreed with the sentiment most of you wrote about she being an uptight little princess who just wants everything. But then, on reflection, I thought about some of the things thrown up by this article. The most interesting, I think, is an insight into Asian men in Western societies: the ABCs, bananas like those on this forum.

It seems to me, and in complete contradiction to this article, that Asian men get a much rougher deal than Asian women in the West. Women can blend in much more effectively than men. I think about all the wide circle of people I know here in Sydney. Most of the Asian women I know are involved with men from different ethnic backgrounds. None of the Asian men I know are. Some Indians, yes, but for the purpose of this discussion I am limiting Asian to mean East Asian. All my Chinese male friends have Chinese girlfriends, or no girlfriend at all. They are the ones who are the victims of the cultural stereotyping this sheila is on about, not so much Asian women.
