As a group idea where the costs of "employing" you are divided between larger numbers, yes absolutely it works far better, and if you are to be there anyway on work it makes greater sense. Having trusted people on the ground somewhere is a big plus, it all comes down to cost vs benefit. As a side earner that essentially costs $0 to get going why not go for it?
