Paid a visit to this place today for the first time. Not sure why I hadn't been before today, but you get that. Other places to visit I guess.
I must say that I actually really enjoyed the visit. The ML was very nice, and even did a pretty good massage. Probably one of the better one's at these places. I've actually had a bit of a sore neck for the last couple of days, and now, after the massage, it feels really good. The room was very spacious and nicely set out and the massage table is very solid, roomy and comfortable. It looks like they may have been custom made. The only drawback I could see was that there looks to be no air con, at least in the room I was in, so i wouldn't want to visit on one of our hot, humid days. There was a pedestal fan, but I doubt it would do much more than push hot air around the room. Today was very mild, so very comfortable.
All in all a Happy experience, so I think I will definately return in the future.
rooms do have aircon.
Ok, good to know. I only had a quick glance around when I walked in and didn't notice one.
Aircon may have been turned off to save on costs as its not a hot day. It is usually on when I visit.
Gets pretty hot in the room if you know what I mean.
Another great visit here yesterday, with my new favourite regular ML. Consistently this place would have to be one of the best in town. Clean, friendly, generally good looking staff who massage skills are definitely above par! keep up the good work!
Got a mate who lives close by says the locals not happy and got a petition with council going to do something about this shop and police visits , plus all on here who can't keep mouth SHUT !! Punters beware ..

I have checked the Brisbane city council and Qld parliament websites and there has been no petition logged as of yet. By law they have to make it available for any qld resident to vote on. And its not on there yet....
Maybe they are in the process...maybe not....
I dare say some careless guys who live close by have been caught by their wives going here and they have been whinging to their friends about it...

I think anyone can put together their own petition walking door to door around the neighbourhood. Parking, access, traffic are local govt issues and could be done this way. An aggrieved local would be driving it and need to go door to door to get the momentum. A online petition to BCC 'signed' by netizens in North Qld would go nowhere. A handwritten petition gathered door-to-doorplus a few photos pf cars parked across drive ways etc, that would be problems.
Even so, consider some of the locations of these shops. Plenty of opportunities for other complains, yet the industry keeps tugging along.
But they would have to be submitted to local govt and then, as Brissyboy suggests, posted on one of their websites.
so, the website can be the last part and a petition could be under way without being on the web. That's what I mean.

I'm a few months late on this one, but it may not necessarily be a petition. Any concerned citizen (or groups of citizens, e.g. the neighbours) can write or call Council without following a formal petition process. They already know the neighbours, so just getting them to sign a letter would be enough.
Yes, petitions only need to be public record if they are going directly to council or parliament to be voted on. Petitions can informally sent to police, MPs etc for them to act on independently.

Let's hope she can survive on a "normal" 9 to 5 salary. Her regulars will hope she might make a return part time for some extra spending money.
