Good and not so good examples there. You make me look like Gai Waterhouse having multiple runners in the Cox Plate. Sure with my friendship with the shops of course I want to see them do well.
But winning the Cox Plate vs a good business Sunday are miles away!! MS business is a long term week in week out business, a little promotion can stimulate a bit of interest and perhaps attract some new or repeat customers. But you can not rely on it long term as part of your business model.
We all laugh at those stores that permanently has a On Sale sign at the front!! And how about those closing down sales that lasted more than two years.
The only way to secure long term and consistent success is quality of the girls and good standard of customer services!
That's the only good advices I could offer to my friends, no tricks, no gimmicks just good old hard works.
