Think about how you use your mother tongue. I know I express myself differently according to circumstance. Depending on to whom i'm speaking i use a range of sentence structure. Obviously this is limited in language students. They just learn one way of saying something; and don't learn variations unless they are very very bright and exposed to multiple English environments. I'm saying that Babycat's writings reveal a remarkable range of sentence structure.
