The main reason the translator doesn't work is because it speaks Mandarin, and the text you want to translate is written in Cantonese !

So does that mean Chinese people write Hanzi (chinese characters) in different clusters or sentences when they are from the south as opposed to the North? The characters themselves are the same aren't they?

Just an advice to you because you are acting like Niceman123, constantly reminding people of the importance of his existence that he's an expert of this and that !

People come to visit this thread because they want to get some informations about the shop, or they want to participate because they know the shop, that's why the thread is popular, but not because you say so !

Yes, same characters, but sometimes the meaning is totally different, especially HongKong people write in their local dialect full of jargons, it makes no sense to other Chinese from other parts of China, let alone Google Translator !

Even the Japanese Hanzi characters are actually ancient Chinese, and some Korean characters too, exactly the same writing, but even the Chinese can't make out what they mean !

Bro Ahlungor maybe the sheer persistence of these kind of posts is what can get annoying. For example I was reading a post the other day about a so so punt in a Thai shop and right in the middle is a suggestion from yourself that maybe the punter should go visit Stanmore instead, with a list of a few of the stanmore girls' names. Following that post a few punters chimed in to give feedback about other girls in the Thai shop- might be just me but that's more what I want to see in a thread about a specific Thai shop.

Thanks Willisno, that partly explains why the translator translated the characters 你錫我 as 'You tin me' ie 'Tin' as in the metal alloy Tin which doesn't make sense because in that sentence the character is probably a verb. It wasn't until I put that character into the dictionary app I have that an alternate meaning of 'bestow' or 'grant' came up, which I'm guessing is more likely to be the meaning.

Nah, there's no harm in promoting the shops you really like, speaking your mind. If people don't like it, it's not your problem, they're probably the shops' opposition suppoters, or they would never visit the shops anyway, so it's not a big loss.
