Handsome alone doesn't guarantee you to get girls easily. Handsome but lack of social skills will not get you hot girls, because hot girls will not make the first move. I never know anyone who's handsome with great social skills need to punt, they can easily find much better girls at the bar or club.
However, its a different story if the guy is in relationship or married, going punting means there's no drama or feeling involved with the girl. So to answer your question unless that handsome guy is married/in relationship OR lack of social skills, I don't think they will go punt
