When I rang the girl I spoke to knew nothing about my original request and said that Mimi had a booking with someone else at 8.00. I am known to the shop and owner and at worst they could have had the courtesy to message me and let me know that Mimi was no longer available. There was clearly a breakdown in communication which was admitted by Mimi. I am not saying this is the crime of the century but if shops want loyalty they need to look after customers. This spoilt what was to be a nice session with a favorite of mine and I would be reluctant to return. There are plenty of places that will not let me down.
So I wasn't mistaken with my initial comment !

You initially called to enquire about 7:00, when they said yes you could have 7:00, then instead of taking the booking, you text back to change for 7:45 !
They couldn't see your text if they were busy texting other customers. I don't think they could stay on the line with one customer all night !

Ok ! It's too bad if that's how you feel. But this is not what you said in the above posts ! 7:00 ! 7:45 were the initial grievance, but no mention of those now !

It's none of my business whether you visit that shop or not, just commenting on the face value of your posts !

A couple of months ago I called ahead to make an appointment with Mimi. I think the appointment was at 2pm or something like that. Anyway just as I was parking my car I get a call from Tiffany who was on reception that day saying sorry 'Mimi had a booking and she didn't tell me so can you come back later or another day'.

After driving half an hour to get there I thought I can probably go somewhere for an hour and come back, so I made a new appointment for 3pm. Anyway I'd passed an office works on the way so I went back there to have a look to kill some time. As I was leaving office works I thought I would call the shop to confirm to avoid going back twice and no Mimi- no answer. So I had to make a choice to drive back anyway and thankfully everything was fine (had a great time too ).

I think there can be the occasional problem when all the girls share reception and also work. Just saying its happened to me here as well. On the other times I've gone no problems with the bookings.

well mate just call it a day..
    dont drag it anymore..
my suggestion , if you going to make a booking at any shop or agency just do phone call , dont text..
much more better and those problem wont be exist anymore..

    just my opinion...

To avoid this problem, it's best if all bookings go through the shop, not through the girl

    Hi brother massageboy,

Sorry to hear about your situations tonight, it's a bit late to call Coco or Mimi to find out what happened, they obviously had stuffed up your booking and they should apologise and work out a better systems! These days, new customers are hard to get and return customers are so valuable especially someone like yourself who shared his good experienced in the forum too.

Having said all that, just wondering if you have time to text them , why not just call and spoke to Coco and instead texting back and forth and wasted 20 min waiting for reply?

I know the shop well and when they got busy, especially if Coco is working, there could be a break down in answering the phone.

And you know why, it's all little Michelle's fault, she was supposed to be the receptionist and she changed her job description to ML instead, I think Coco should get a proper receptionist with good English!!

    Just my two cents,

Please don't give up on Mimi, unless you found a better replacement, if so, please share.......lol

    Cheers

Double or missed bookings happen all the time in a lot of shops but I think the best is for the customer to make a phone call booking rather than texting. I've had a few missed bookings from this shop too and sometimes even if you call, Coco or Michelle may be busy doing massage so then it goes straight to their answer machine. It might be best of they have a dedicated receptionist like Newtown although that is extra cost for Coco to consider.

I think wilisbro, you may have
jumped the gun on massageboy brother as he had messaged the shop at 7pm to ask about Mimi's availability on the night. The shop replied yes immediately with no time specifics, so massageboy bro then sent a subsequent message asking if 745pm was ok to book her. I think it's reasonable to expect a reply back to confirm given the first reply was pretty immediate. The shop didn't get back to him so he called them after 20 minutes to find out whether he could make - 745pm booking.

I don't think at any stage did massageboy bro ask for a 7pm booking & neither did he change it to 745pm as you incorrectly assumed. He had messaged at 7pm to inquire about availability and then made a subsequent text to ask for a 745pm booking. The shop should have been able to reply back yes or no then rather than 20 minutes later, the customer makes a call to find out now she wasn't available as they had booked her out.

If we don't let the boss know about this sort of service it just continues. Thanks to Sillyboy who gave a very accurate summary of the events.
    Don't worry Bro,

I will make sure Coco is made aware of this.

Umm... I might have jumped the gun on this, but I also said the shop can't be blamed on this, during that 20 minutes, the shop might be dealing with other customers or on the phone, so they wouldn't have seen the text, so they would take the unambiguous booking instead of waiting for one yet to be decided. Or they might have forgotten about the previous text which is understandable unless it's a quiet night !

A voice call should have saved more money and frustration !

As i said earlier, I agree that a phone booking would be best. However I think it wouldn't be unreasonable for the customer to think that his 2nd MSG for booking time is replied back, if he had recieved an initial reply of "Yes" almost immediately from his 1st text inquiry and he had sent the booking time instantly after that. You would think the receiver is in immediate proximity of the phone to confirm back given the immediate text replies from both sides? Anytime you start conversing with the customer, then you should treat them with customer service at the forefront. By many businesses can survive a 20 minute non-response time after commencing an initial contact themselves.

It doesn't hurt to apologise to massageboy bro for your incorrect assumptions brother as I think The conversation just aggravated him more. For once, must recognize both AhLungor and Coco for their handling of the situation after hearing the issue and responding in a customer friendly manner.

What do I apologize for ? For something I believe ?

I believe although what happened maybe unfortunate, but the shop should not be blamed ! Of course, you can believe otherwise ! Moreover, I just stated my view, I didn't abuse him or anything !

Brother, you were quite aggressive towards massageboy bro. You made a number of incorrect assumptions about his situation which clearly aggravated him. You may believe the shop didn't do anything wrong and we have already stated why it would be reasonable to expect a reply confirmation given the immediacy of the initial reply and even the shop acknowledges their issue. They were busy yet why reply instantly in the 1st place. Setting the right customer expectation is just part of customer service too.

We all can have a responsibilty to each other to maintain standards in this forum regardless of your member level. I'm commenting based on my observation of the events in this thread.

You had said to massageboy brother your comments were based on the info on his post and readers could decide whether the criticism is justified. Clearly you had made some wrong assumptions & then engaged in a tit for tat with massageboy bro which made him more aggravated.

I also don't mean to go tit for tat with yourself either on this but just stating my POV from an objective perspective. If any offense is taken from my statements, then please accept apologies but I also believe that I would be right to comment objectively about a situation.

    Have a good night brother.

Nothing worse than to have your booking fucked up. It really puts a downer on your day/night, especially if you are limited in time. I know sometimes I have sms'd the girl and have arrived only to find that someone else had booked her through the shop phone. So what they do is cut your time (legally) to fit both in, so if you want an hour you get 30 mins.
