Why call it quiting anyway? You can exert self-control and cut it right down to as little as needed. This is a great hobby for some release once in a while as a treat to yourself. Just control yourself and don't go overboard.

I've managed to cut down my punting rate right down to 2 Ginza punts and 2 RNTs in the last 9 months. I did it by keeping the money spent front and centre whenever I even think about punting, and I spend the money I would've spent on punting as soon as I can.

For example, I typically spend around $500 for a single J girl punt at Ginza based on current pricing. Instead of going, I use the money to buy my kid a new iPad instead. I instantly see the effect of saving the money from not punting, it's something real, not just some money in the account that I could easily spend on something else equally as useless as 1 hour of pleasure for myself.

There are other examples. Buy yourself a nice phone, watch, car. Make it real, every single time. And the great thing is, you don't have to keep doing this. After a while, it becomes a habit, you'll be holding yourself back from punting as soon as the thought comes into your head.
