I'm in a little bit of a dilemma myself RE: a co-worker.
Work trip a couple of months back to Tokyo for a whole department conference, beautiful Japanese internal workplace coordinator, get chatting with her during the breaks, we end up going for Ramen & Sake together on my last evening in town, communication details exchanged (Line), can't stop thinking about her (very smitten). Sad that it's very difficult to pursue things further, cultural differences and 10hr flight between us, etc, but also glad at the same time looking at the bigger picture. You definitely have to think logically (with the big brain and not the small one).
Back on topic - same for me, punting with MLs/WLs doesn't change I see women in the real world.
Never mix pleasure with business and work. and work place relationship and/or affairs will never end well - with the only exception that you two dated and eventually get married. But then again, many companies have policies, in which married couple will not be employed together, so one of you has to resign or something like that.
Just have a think about it, if the relationship/affairs ends and you are still workmates, it will be very complicated especially when one of you move on to another person at work, it could turn into a real life Dangerous Liaisons no less.

I second what has been said already. The only time that a professional relationship is acceptable if not welcomed is between a WL and a punter. That’s the only business transaction where sex should be involved. Any other will not end up well. Words chosen deliberately
Tbh this hobby makes non wl relationships feel good knowing for the time it’s all yours, no bs faking etc and don’t have to feel bad if you wear them out too much.
