Be precise... sometimes you just add another multi leg at $1.05 assuming sure win.... it just fuck up the whole thing.
You get angry particular if you are unfamiliar with that 1.05 bet.

Here is an early tip for you for the Cup this year, Preferment is currently the second favourite at $10.

Just won the Turnbull Stakes on Sunday at $17-1, a nice little each way win for me.! I couldn't believe the price as he won the Hills Stake the previous start. Hey there bro Kinder, its basically just a few brothers giving out some free opinions regarding sports betting. Just a warning, from the last line of your post it seems you may be confusing this with free mney so long as you bet. Normally its none of my business, but on the off chance you were mislead by my earlier post, let me just briefly clarify:
I followed the advice posted in this thread before and ended up $200 in the positive with a $100 start($100 from travelmate and midnight prowlers advice and $100 from ahlungors trifecta Melb cup), but there was a fair bit of ups and downs along the way.
What im trying to say is, the tips are not 100% wins, and if you do want to try then its good to follow travelmates earlier advice to make bets no larger than 5% pf your total bank each time

Both winners are not in the Caulfield Cup and will face off in the Cox Plate. Early prediction : Criterion in Moonee Valley and Preferment at Flemington .

I think Mongolian Khan and Set Square are the best two local in the Caulfield Cup, rain is forecasted for Friday and Saturday so Royal Descent could run a place.

Sticking with Criterion, he clearly is the best local WFA horse.

Again, the internationals are looking very dangerous, if they race up to their best form and potential, the Plate could be heading overseas second year in a row.

I got my money back with Criterion each way. Then last minute at the Club put on a trifecta with 1, 13, 14 first two and the field and it paid peanuts , first three favourite home 1,2,3 ! I think most people would have won something or money back !

One thing for sure, you will never get $4.00+ on Winx ever again ! With the European forms behind her, she can be a world beater if Waller takes her to Hong Kong or Royal Ascot !

Preferment is one of the best local, Hills Stakes and Turnbull win was excellent, love Flemington, VRC Derby winner last year. By Zabeel who had already produced three Cup Winners ! With Hugh Bowman and Chris Waller, they are on Fire! If he wins tomorrow , I'll collect $2,000 + .

Just on Almoonqith , he is also a must have in all the multis:

He is by the same sire as Americain, he also came through the Geelong Cup. His grand Sire is Roberto, who had already produced a Cup winner in At Talaq, wearing the same colour and trained my David Hayes father the late Colin Hayes ! Top three chances !

OK, this is it, the Melbourne Cup of 2015 !

A very open field with lots of chances. Once again, the oversea horses have accounted for half of the field, and this is Not counting horses that were from overseas but now trained by local trainers.

You can pick half a dozen horses and could still miss the winner and it probably won't surprise as nearly half the field have genuine to reasonable chances of winning or running into the placings.

So, where do we start ?

Firstly, out of all the oversea trained horses who have been successful since Vintage Crop in 93, there is a very significant common factor: they have all had a run in Australia and run well:

Media Puzzle won the Geelong Cup
Delta Blues ran 3rd in the Caulfield Cup
Americain won the Geelong Cup
Dunaden won the Geelong Cup
Protectionist had a big run in the Herbert Power

So, for this winning formula:

We have to pick Trip to Paris and Fame Game - they are now the top two favourites

Then you have the locally trained horses who have top WFA forms and they came through the Cox Plate

Jeune, Saintly, Makybe Diva, Efficient, Green Moon, Fiorente

So we add Criterion and Preferment

Then one of my personal selection criteria (an omen !)

The horses that had run well or placed in previous Cups:

The good old Red Cadeaux and Who Shot Thebarman

Now, all these horses are pretty much in the market, so we shall look for some values for the Trifecta

For this I will look at the bottom half of field for some light weight hopes:

I have picked Bondi Beach (no sentimental reason, but if Lloyd Williams had bought a major shares into this horse, he must know something we don't), this is a 4 year old in the Northern hemisphere but he is still a 3 yr old in our time, think about another 4 yr old called Adelaide who came here last year and won the Cox Plate !

And The United States, he ran a track record to win the Mooney Valley Gold Cup and has the same sire as Bondi Beach in Galileo - a noted sire of stayers. and same ownership too !!

It hurts to exclude horses like Our Ivanhowe, Hartnell, Max Dynamite, The Offer and Excess Knowledge and a few other European horses, but you simply can't tip them all, so we will need some luck and hopefully these eight horses are good enough to fight off the others :

If you must cut it down to 8, take out no.2 Criterion !! and keep 17.

Criterion is probably the best horse in Australia until Winx blowed the Cox Plate field off the water - no doubt about his class but there is a slight query on whether he can stay the 3,200 metre.

But Almoonqith is a dead set stayer, he has the same sire as Americain and their grand sire is Roberto who had also sired a Cup winner in At Talaq, and on Almoonqith's dam side, there are full of staying blue bloods: Mr Prospector, Blushing Groom, Nijinski, Seatle Slew, etc. I will be most surprised if he can't stay the two miles. So yes, prefer Almoonqith to Criterion !!

And for the first time in 50 years where there is no Bart on the first Tuesday in November, with Michelle Payne, there were some Bart connections too, it was Bart back in 2009 who gave Michelle her first win in a Group 1 race on board Allez Wonder in the Toorak Handicap.

Or maybe to qualify for the prestigious Melbourne cup a horse has to have a running history good enough, and the long odds only reflect its relative strength against the favoured horses with even better histories. That is, put the Pirates of Penzance in race no.6 at Doomben and its odds might be only 3 / 1 !

Fair comments !

Basically, the Prince has never raced in a two miles race , so his ability is unknown - same with the third horse Criterion. But through out their respective racing career , the Prince has only done an Ok job so far. While Criterion had won a Derby, QE Stakes, Caulfield Stakes, all group 1's and over $6 M in prize money and his last start ran second in the Cox plate while the Prince ran second in the MV Gold Cup which is a couple grades below !

And hence the different in prices !!

Then all of a sudden , they both run in the Cup for the first time and of course both are running a strong race , in the end, Criteriin carries 57.5 kg vs the Prince was on 52kg, so that the different I guess!

Rest assured , if both horses shall ever meet again in the Cup, their weight will be much closer and you won't get 100 to 1 again !

Correction, just found out that Russian Camelot’s grand sire was Montjeu, who has already sired a Cup winner in Green Moon, plus two recent Sydney Cup winners and two Ascot Gold Cup (4,000 metre) so there should be no question he can run the trip.

I’m a huge NFL fan and this is the first week so anything is up for grabs. There’s no film and only hype with poor press coverage of training camp. No preseason games this year either. You can go on paper form and injuries but it’s such a crap shoot.

I like Rams +2, cowboys Had good form on paper but they’re out their starting LT and Rams have Aaron Donald ready to tear shit up again. I trust Rams offence to do well and that Cowboys secondary is rubbish.

Steelers -4.5 should be a good call against a soft Giants team with nothing going for them. Barkley will be negated by TJ Watt in the ground game.

I’d take Ravens -7.5 too. Reigning MVP and a ridiculous offence against a Browns team coming off a underwhelming year.

Bills -6.0 - Another division game here, and the Bills were on form. Miami plays WELL at home against northern teams, especially early on in the season, but I think the gap will be more than a TD here.

If Russian Camelot holds his form, he probably will be too good on the day. But he’s never been to MV ? and no experience in a high pressure race like the Cox Plate. Where Humidor had placed twice and won a couple other races on the track, with the price difference, even the place will pay more than RC’s win so worth a ticket and a must have for all the exotics !

These days in the AFL I don't really have a favourite team but historically, both the Cats and the Tigers had been favourites. Early 80s when I discovered AFL the Tigers and the Cats in the late 80s. Gary Ablett Snr was an absolute beast of a player and their battles with the Hawks in the day were truly legendary.

NRL, I hate the Storm but you have to give credit where credit is due, they just keep showing up and Craig Bellamy continues to make average players great ones. A truly champion team.
I was brought up in Penrith, went to many home games and were my 2nd side for many years. They play an exciting game and never give up for one another.

Both will be close, but I am going for a Storm/Cats double. I am expecting high scoring games too, assuming the weather is good.

Hey mate, it's generally called a line bet. In this case, it means Storm need to win by 2 or more points at the end of 80 minutes or regular time.

You won't have to search too far for a Line bet, it is one of the more common ones. There may be a number of line bets, they will change the odds you get.

I have been with Humidor in the Cox Plate but I will have a safer bet on the three years old Grandslam each way at $16.00 !

Reasons :

Three years old have a huge weight advantage especially on a wet track.

Grandslam is a full brother to Jameka who won a Caulfield Cup but more importantly won two more group 1’s in Sydney on heavy 10 !

Finally, after five races today , the leader all have an advantage, and Grandslam leads, light weight and handles wet, good luck !
