For the connoisseur who appreciates fine wine, drinks it in moderation, savours and enjoys every glass - it's a virtuous pursuit.

For the alcoholic, who buys the cheapest cask wine they can find and gulps it down to get drunk and forget about their problems - it's a vice.

They're both drinking wine...
